3 Exciting New Installments of The Jeremy Jounal!

Don't be fooled by the dates at the top of this post (or the Journal itself). These were written over the period of a couple of months. Evidently this type of journalism is tricky business and takes tireless investigation.
Stay tuned for Jeremy's forthcoming novella.

The Jeremy Journal

A few months ago Jefi decided to create his own ...uh... "newspaper." The Jeremy Journal is entirely his own conception, design, production, etc. At this point, four issues have been produced. Note that the date on the top of the Jeremy Journal does not seem to be related to the actual release date.

Trip to P'ton

We went to P'ton in October because one of Dad's friend's dad died, and Dad wanted to be with his friend during this sad time. Dad and Alex and Jon have been friends since they were Mifi's age. That's a looooong time.

They look like good friends, don't they?

While we were in P'ton we saw a lot of Dad's friends. Alex was there with his wife Amy...

Jon flew in all the way from Michigan with his partner Rosie and their little girl Zoe. Zoe is actually spelled in a fancy way, but I'm not sure how to type it, so I'll call her Zoe. Here's her head!

And here's the whole family.

We got our first inkling that Jon and Alex are silly when we met them at brunch. They took Dad's camera while he was getting food and secretly snapped some silly pics like these:

Even though Alex was sad, he was especially goofy.

Jon and Alex were both fun to play with. We think they like kids.

Zoe is the absolute cutest! We were careful, because she's just a little peanut. She seems to like Mifi and Jefi too.

Dad was there too, of course.

Dad and his friends have nothing on us. We're pretty wacky too.

More catching up

Waaaaaay back in July of '06 the boys went to visit their grandparents in Florida...

Here's Granny and Grandpa... cute, as always.

Granny and Grandpa are always adding cool stuff to their house. Here's their newest piece of "art." when you turn it on, silver balls go whizzing along all sorts of tracks and fly through air.

Jefi had to stay indoors a lot because he got Lyme disease just before vacation and the medication made him sensitive to the sun :-( There's plenty to do inside, though. For instance, making paper airplanes, playing Pacheesi...

Mifi just hung around looking tough.

Not every moment was spent inside. When the sun wasn't too strong, the boys hung out in Granny and Grandpa's pool. Jefi had to wear a shirt and long pants so that he wouldn't turn bright red.

We also played golf with Tiger Woods. Here's Tiger swinging like the the pro he is.

Everyone had a grand time. We can't wait 'til our next visit.

Kutshers

Way back in August the whole family got together to celebrate Granny and Grandpa's 500th... er... 50th wedding anniversary. Also, Granny turned 70, so we celebrated that too. We went to a place called Kutshers, which looked like it probably hadn't been updated since Granny and Grandpa's wedding. Here are some pictures.

We love grandpa. Here's a picture of Mifi and Grandpa...

The adults played charades and pictionary...

Here's Dad pretending he can draw. That squiggly mess was supposed to be a sheep.

Grandpa's no Picasso either...

Nor is Aunt Rebecca...

Uncle Derek showed us he could count to 1, which he thought was very funny...

Everyone had a great time. Look at cousin Dov and Aunt Ruth...

Almost everyone had a great time. Here's what we thought of charades and pictionary...

Traveling grandparents

Granny and Grandpa went to South America. They were there for weeks and weeks, but they're coming back tomorrow. They have the most amazing pictures of their trip. We posted a link over on the side of the blog so you can look at South American yourself.

Report Cards

This seems like a good day to post all the things that have not been posted for months and months. Here are some report cards. Paying attention in class is not long suit in this family.

Uuugh...

I was just told by someone (hi Dad) that I have to type something "important" about what we did the last few weeks. Well here goes:

  • I watched more of Band of Brothers (I can't remember if I've talked about it before)
  • I learned that I need to remember to do laundry
  • I figured out how to get in trouble in religious school without getting sent to the principles
  • And I now know how fun jefi's wrestling strategy is

Well that's it. I hope someone is happy because I want to have fun. Uuugh... I want to play so I'm done for now.

Bye Everyone

~ Mifi
